The Lead:�The Roanoke College Golf team tied for the lowest final round team score as the Maroons finished second at �the 2015 VSGA Intercollegiate Tournament in Harrisonburg.

How it Happened:

• The Maroons finished tied with Bridgewater with a 291 on day-two, claiming second-place, five strokes behind tournament champion Ferrum and five strokes in front of BC and Shenandoah which tied for third-place.�
• Alex Taylor paced the Maroons�carding a two-day 66-76�142 which put him in a tie for fifth-place.
• Andrew Butts shot a one over, 71 on Tuesday finishing with a 36 hole total of 143 that was good for a seventh-place tie.�
• William Brown improved by eight shots from his day one total to�place in a tie for 22^nd overall with a 78-70�148, while Nicklaus Norris carded a 76-74�150 to tie for 30^th.�

Next Up:
The Maroons will be off until Oct. 12-13 when it will take part in the Ted Keller Memorial Tournament at Hanover CC in Ashland, Va.�
