2016-17: In his senior season, Cooper was one of the top scorers for the Maroons and competed in two events. At the Roanoke College Invitational he placed 28th overall (4/13). Cooper scored a (83-82-165).
2015-16: Was third on the team in scoring finishing his junior year with an average of 80.13... had one top-10 finish on the season... shot a 74 at the Ted Keller Memorial (10/13) which was his lowest round of the season... at the Roanoke Invitational (4/17) he shot a 75 the first round a 77 in the second helping him to a ninth place finish.
2014-2015:Finished fourth on the team in scoring average with an average of 78.35 was tied for second on the team in events played in and had two top ten finishes best finish came at the Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate (3/27), where he finished tied for six with his two lowest round of the year at 70 and finished with a three round total of 219 also finished in the top ten at the Shenandoah Invitational where he shot a 78 in the first round and bounced back the next round to shoot a 70, and finished tied for seventh in this tournament (9/20) at the Tom Kinder Memorial he shot a 73 and 75 while finishing tied for 17th in the large tournament (9/13) at the Virginia State Intercollegiate he just missed out of the top ten by tying for twelfth and by shooting a two round total of 155 (9/28).
2013-2014:Competed in seven events this season, fourth most on the team...had a scoring average of 81.19 with 16 rounds played...at the Tom Kinder Memorial, he shot a two round score of 164 to help lead the team to finish fourth in the tournament (9/14-15)...at the Jekyll Island Invitational, did the best on the team with a three round score of 236 (3/15)...at the Roanoke Spring Invitational, had his best event all season by placing 17th in the tournament and shooting a two round score of 157, he lead the team to finish fourth in the tournament (4/7).
High School: played at Franklin County, where he led the Eagles to four-straight Western Valley District Titles and four-straight Northwest Regional appearances... received First-Team All-Western Valley District, First-Team All-Northwest Region and First-Team All-VHSL Class AAA honors as a senior... was Western Valley District Tournament champion as a junior (2011), runner-up as a sophomore (2010), and third-place as a senior (2012)... named Franklin County team MVP two years in a row... finished tied for fifth in the Northwest Regionals as a senior, which was the best finish for the program since 2007... Cooper earned a trip as the only WVD player to the VHSL Class AAA State Tournament as a senior.
Personal: son of Myrandi Cooper... was awarded the 2013 Don Holliday Memorial Scholarship, the largest golf-related scholarship in Southwest Virginia... graduated with a 4.07 GPA... member of the National Honor Society, history club and foreign language club.
