FOREST --- Senior Drew Claytor (Greensboro, NC, Grimsley) has earned ODAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week honors announced Monday afternoon. It is the third Maroon this season and the first weekly conference award in Claytor's career.

A senior from Greensboro, N.C., Claytor helped lead Roanoke to a pair of ODAC victories on the road last week with a goal and an assist. He opened his week with the only score in a 1-0 win at Guilford College, marking his second goal of the season. He followed that with an assist on the tying goal in a game Roanoke would eventually win, 3-1, at Randolph-Macon College. Claytor has five assists on the season, tied for the team-high and second in the ODAC.

The Maroons are currently 11-3-1 overall and 6-0-1 to remain atop the ODAC Standings. They have been in the NSCAA Top-25 poll for three weeks this season.

The men return home on Wednesday, Oct. 19 as they will host Bridgewater College in ODAC action. The match is scheduled for 7 p.m.
