FOREST � Marc Dinkel was named ODAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week, announced Monday.� He is the first Maroon to garner the honor since Brian White won the award on September 30, 2013.

Dinkel, a junior from Basel, Switzerland, had a hand in all three goals in the Maroons 3-1 victory over Bridgewater College, helping Roanoke to a 1-0-1 week. Dinkel assisted on the game's opening goal and then helped put RC back in front in the second half with his second assist. He capped the games scored with a 20-yard free kick from his prefer left foot to the near post. Roanoke went on to tie Randolph College, 0-0, on Friday evening, keeping the Maroons undefeated in conference play and atop the ODAC standings at 4-0-1 (7-2-2 overall). Dinkel leads the ODAC in points (20) and goals scored (7), and is tied for tops in assists (6).

The Maroons return to action on Wednesday, October 8^th as they play Emory & Henry at Kerr Stadium for a Pack the House game.� That contest is scheduled for a 7:00 PM start.
