?Pack the House? Tailgate Scheduled for ODAC Men's Soccer Championship
The men's soccer team will host the 2014 ODAC Championship match at Kerr Stadium at 6 PM on Saturday, Nov. 8. There will be a tailgate in front of Alumni Field this Saturday, November 8th prior to the contest against Lynchburg College, beginning at 5:30 PM.

The men defeated Washington and Lee, 5-1 in the conference semifinals on Tuesday evening, which marked Roanoke's highest goal total against the Generals since 1953! The top-seeded Maroons are riding an eight-match win streak and have an overall record of 15-2-2, their best record since the 2002 season. The 10-0-1 record in conference play is the best in program-history, marking only the second time the Maroons have gone unbeaten in the ODAC.

Roanoke, entering its 12th ODAC Championship game in school history, faces off against #2 seed Lynchburg. These two teams have a combined 22 ODAC Championships but have only twice faced off against each other in the ODAC Championship game. Roanoke won the first meeting in 2004 by the score of 2-0, while Lynchburg got the upper hand in the 2009 ODAC title game, 3-1.

The Maroons bested the Hornets on October 21st of this season, 1-0 in Lynchburg as Robby Lentine put away the game-winner. Roanoke will face a tough goalkeeper in Scott Zaring, who has given up the fewest goals in the ODAC, allowing just nine this season. The Hornets have 10 players who have scored more than one goal in 2014, led by Luke More with seven.

Prior to the start of the game, there will be plenty of food and drinks at the tailgate starting at 5:30 PM. which will last through halftime. We encourage all fans to come out for the ODAC Championship contest, as Roanoke looks to win its 10th conference title.

Also, President's Ball will follow the Men's Soccer game in the Colket Center. The Annual event will take place from 8:00 PM to 12:00 PM and is hosted by the President's Office and Community Programs. It is always a fun night for everyone involved, and will be New Orleans themed this year!

A reminder the entrance to Kerr Stadium is now on the north end of the field, the end closest to Bast Track. GO MAROONS!
