The Lead: Randolph-Macon used a 10 goal run to score an 18-10 ODAC Women's Lacrosse win over Roanoke on Tuesday in Salem.

How it Happened:
  • Roanoke found itself down 3-1 early, before the Maroons scored four the next five goals, including three by Meredith Bigelow who made it 5-4 RC with 13:21 to play in the first-half.
  • R-MC tied it up 29 seconds later before back-to-back goals by Courtney McCartin put RC up 7-5 with 10:14 to go in the half.
  • A goal by Katie Russo of R-MC with 4:29 made it 7-6 sparked would prove to be 10 unanswered goals in a run that stretched to the 13:18 mark of the second-half.
  • Randolph-Macon�won 20-of-26 draws on the night, including 11-of-14 in the decisive second-half. R-MC outshot RC 36-27 and won the groundball battle 18-16.
  • Bigelow finished with four goals, while McCartin scored three times. Claire Feeney added a goal and three assists for the Maroons.
  • Alyssa Chavez scored four times for R-MC, while Susie Snee and Russo each tallied three goals.
