SALEM, Va. -- After going through a tough route at the 2022 Citrus Invitational, Roanoke's Jude Robson has been named the ODAC Light Wrestler of the Week.

Robson went 4-2 at the ever-tough end of the year event in Fort Lauderdale. At 125 lbs., he opened with  a fall over Lucas Johnson of Williams College and then a decision over Jase Van Pelt of Cornell, 6-1. In the quarterfinals he won, 2-0 in sudden victory over the #4 regionally-ranked in the Northeast, Kaya Bogle of Castleton.

In the semifinals Robson dropped a tough match to Div. II Logan Seliga of UNC-Pembrooke before collecting a 5-4 decision over Taisei Karachi of NYU. He then fell 6-2 to Bogle in the 3rd Place match. 

Roanoke remains on the road as it travels to Washington and Lee for the 2023 Crytzer Memorial Tournament in Lexington on Saturday, January 7. The one-day tournament gets underway at 9 a.m.
