Junior Jessica Welfare (Roanoke, VA, Hidden Valley)earned second-team honors while senior Alida Haslett (Bryn Mawr, PA, Radnor)was named to the third-team.
Welfare, a local product of Hidden Valley, earned all-region honors for the third-consecutive season. She finished second on the team in goals (8) and points (18) while posting two assists and two game-winners.
Haslett, from Bryn Mawr, PA, was voted team captain this fall and led the backfield for the Maroons. A two-time All-ODAC selection, she started in all 19 matches this season and 60 of her last 61 games over her career. The three-year starter at defender is a two-sport athlete at Roanoke, as she will start for the defense of the women's lacrosse team in the spring.
The Maroons finished 12-7, 7-4 in the ODAC. They earned a #4 seed and advanced to the ODAC Semifinals, where they fell to top-seed Virginia Wesleyan for the second-straight season. They faced a tough scheduled this season, in which four of their seven losses and five opponents came against teams currently playing in the NCAA Tournament.
