FOREST - On Monday, Roanoke College senior Carmen Graves was named ODAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week.

Graves, a Christiansburg, Va. native, helped Roanoke to a 2-0-1 week that including a 1-1 draw with nationally second-ranked Emory University on Sunday. Graves opened her week with two goals in a 6-1 win over Guilford. She followed that with an assist in a 2-0 shutout of Shenandoah for the Maroons' second conference win of the week. Against Emory, Graves supplied Roanoke's scoring effort against the NSCAA Atlantic South Region's top rated squad with a goal in the 56th minutes. Her seven points this week marked the first output for the three-sport star (indoor track, outdoor track) this season.

The Roanoke women's soccer team returns to action on Tuesday, September 17^th as they travel to Harrisonburg to face Eastern Mennonite in ODAC action. That contest is scheduled for a 7:00 PM kickoff .
