FOREST, Va. --- Lynchburg College forward Dessi Dupuy earned the ODAC Player of the Year award as one of three LC Hornets taking home special honors as part of the All-ODAC women's soccer awards.� LC mentor Dr. Todd Olsen was tabbed the ODAC Coach of the Year, while defender Rachel Sadowski was selected as the ODAC/Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete by the league's sports information directors.� Washington and Lee University defender Ashley Hogan received ODAC Rookie of the Year accolades.
Five Maroons were named to the 2013 Women's Soccer All-ODAC Squads.� Sophomore Nathalie Torres earned First Team honors in 2013.� Sophomore Ashley Barnes, junior Kaitlyn Manning and senior Maya Kantor each were named to Second Team All-ODAC.� Junior goalkeeper, Carolyn Sarbacher was tabbed with a Third Team award.

Torres, a sophomore from Wilmington, DE, picks up her first All-ODAC honors in 2013.� She finished the season with 10 points, scoring five goals with two game-winners.� Torres won the ODAC Player of the Week award on October 7th, after scoring three goals in the week.� She scored two goals against Sweet Briar College, including the game winner, then scored a goal in Roanoke's 4-0 win over Randolph-Macon.� Torres started all 19 games for the Maroons and took 24 shots.

Barnes, a sophomore from S. Elgin, IL, was named to the All-ODAC Second Team in 2013.� She started and played in 18 games during the season.� Barnes led the team in total points (18), scoring nine goals during the season.� Barnes was named ODAC Player of the Week on October 14th, having scored five goals in two games.� She tied a school record of four goals in a game in Roanoke's 6-0 win over Randolph.� She followed that game with one of two goals in Roanoke's 2-0 win against Virginia Wesleyan.� Her nine goals ranked seventh in the ODAC, and sixth in game-winning goals with three.

Kantor, a senior from New City, NY, is a four-time All-ODAC selection.� Kantor started and played in all 19 games for the Maroons in 2013.� She finished the season with one assist in Roanoke's 5-0 win over Sweet Briar.� Kantor was a major force in Roanoke's defensive squad, a group that only allowed three goals in the month of October.� Roanoke went undefeated in October, thanks to the help from the Roanoke backfield.

Manning, a junior from Davie, FL, also added to the Roanoke backfield, earning Second Team All-ODAC honors.� She started in 16 games for the Maroons and played in 18 total during the 2013 season.� She took a total of three shots during the year.� There were 10 games during the year in which Manning played the entire length of the contest, including two 110-minute overtime draws.� With two defenders on the All-ODAC squad for the Maroons, Roanoke's defense in 2013 saw much success.

Sarbacher, a junior from Dunkirk, MD, picks up her second All-ODAC nod after being named to the Third Team in 2012 as well.� Sarbacher started in all 17 games for the Maroons in 2013.� She ranked third in the conference in both shutouts (4) and save percentage (.849).� Sarbacher gave up only 11 goals this year, picking up eight wins and making 62 saves.�
