KANSAS CITY, KS ��The 2014 Roanoke College women's soccer team was named an NSCAA College Team Academic Award Winner. �Roanoke has been named NSCAA College Team Academic Award Winners in three of the last four years (2011, 2013, 2014).

A total of 861 collegiate soccer teams (279 men, 582 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2013-14 academic year. �The Roanoke College women's team finished the season with a GPA of 3.17, an increase from the previous year in which they also won the award. �

The Roanoke College women's soccer team finished the 2014 season with a record of 11-7-1, 7-4-1 in ODAC play. The Maroons finished the regular season play earned them a #5 seed in the ODAC Tournament. With 11 wins, Roanoke completed its ninth consecutive 10-win season, a program record. �The Maroons placed five players on 2014 Women's Soccer All-ODAC Teams.� Junior Nathalie Torres was named First Team All-ODAC, while Marlana Barnard, Kaitlyn Manning and Laura Sullivan all were tabbed Second Team All-ODAC.� Junior Ashley Barnes garnered Third Team All-ODAC honors.
