The Lead: Salisbury handed RC Women's Soccer its first loss of the season as the Sea Gulls made a first-half goal stand up as they topped the Maroons 1-0 on Saturday.

• Hope Knussman made five stops for Salisbury in net, including a pair of saves on Linnea Kremer and Courtney Yoke in the closing minutes to keep RC off the board.
• Sarah Dvorak made seven saves�in 90 minutes of work for RC.
• Salisbury outshot RC 13-6 and held a 7-1 advantage in corner kicks.�
