The Lead: Kristin Figel's goal in the 13^th minute proved to be the difference as Roanoke topped Eastern Mennonite 1-0 in ODAC action Wednesday night in Salem.

How it Happened:

• Figel�scored when a crossing pass was misplayed by the EMU keeper and she tapped in a shot between two defenders to give RC the only goal it would need.
• The RC defense made the goal hold up, as it did not allow EMU a shot for the entire 90 minutes.
• The Maroons held a 30-0 advantage in shots and 9-0 in corner kicks.
• Royals' keeper Becca Borg made 15 saves on the evening for EMU, while Sarah Dvorak recorded the third shutout of the year for RC.

Roanoke will travel to Randolph-Macon Saturday for a 2:00 p.m. ODAC match with the Yellow Jackets.
