The Lead: Brooke Bukas scored six minutes into overtime to give Salem College a 2-1 victory over Roanoke in women's soccer Tuesday afternoon in Winston-Salem, N.C.

How it Happened:

• Ashley Barnes notched her sixth goal of the season in the 10^th minute taking a pass from Abbe Guarino and beating Salem keeper Paige Ketchum to make it 1-0 Maroons.
• RC had chances to extend its lead but Ketchum would make five saves in the first-half to keep it a one goal game heading into half-time.
• Salem upped the offensive pressure, forcing RC keepr Sarah Dvorak to make five stops eary in the second stanza�before Bukas drew Salem even in the 63rd minute on an unassisted strike. �
• Emily Whitaker had a chance to win the game for RC a minute into overtime but her shot was turned away by Ketchum.
• Bukas got the game-winner unassisted at the 96:23 mark to give Salem, which recently clinched its fourth-straight Great South Conference regular season title, its�12^th win of the year.
• Salem outshot RC 21-16 and each team had seven corner kicks.
• Dvorak and Ketchum each finished with seven saves in net.
