Forest, Va. – For the second consecutive week, Roanoke's Lindsey Baxter has been named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Track & Field Athlete of the Week.

Baxter, a sophomore from Hampton, N.H., continued her trend of increasing her pole vault marks and looks ready for ODAC championship competition after a strong showing at the Roanoke Tune Up. Baxter reset her own school-record in the pole vault after clearing 3.51 meters (11-6.25). That won the event and puts her a full foot in front of second place on the conference chart. That mark ranks 34th in NCAA Division III.

Roanoke will host the league championships on Sunday at the Cregger Center.
